Lee grew up in Lyons, Georgia, learning the family businesses of turpentine, cotton and timber. After graduating with honors from Mercer University, Lee completed graduate studies at the University of Georgia and continued there until graduating from law school in 1982. As regional counsel for a national title company, Lee came to Atlanta in 1986, and later specialized in real property title in solo practice during the 1990s. He was involved in the structure and amendment of the Georgia Residential Mortgage Act and has served on the board of GRECAA (Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorney’s Association). He has extensive experience in land use, building, development and construction, and holds inactive real estate agent and broker licenses. In addition to daily work with wills, estates, trusts and contracts, Lee has successfully represented clients in disputed matters of land-ownership, land-lines, alleyway usage, and easements. Lee has served on the Midtown Atlanta land use planning and zoning committee for nearly 20 years, in addition to a large number of other civic and charitable endeavors.

Managing Attorney
Chad was born in Thomasville, Georgia, and grew up in Orlando. After graduating from Florida State University in 1993, Chad moved to Atlanta to attend Emory. Chad graduated from Emory University’s School of Law in 1997, and also earned his M.B.A. from Emory’s Goizueta Business School. He is licensed to practice law in Florida and Georgia. Chad’s law practice is focused primarily on small business consulting and advisement, corporate and partnership formation, entertainment industry representation, commercial and residential real estate developments and transactions, land use and zoning, and leasing of residential and commercial properties. In addition to practicing law, Chad has taught dozens of law, business and real estate courses as an adjunct professor in Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business. He is a past chair of the Georgia Bar’s Real Property Section, and has served on numerous community and nonprofit boards.
Valinda joined the firm in 2016, bringing over 30 years of experience and involvement in extraordinary and expansive City of Atlanta projects. She served as an acquisition/relocation officer and property manager for MARTA, and later served as a paralegal for the Atlanta BeltLine in its acquisition of properties and easements for what has become one of the country’s most transformative real estate and community development projects. Valinda brings a wealth of experience in the areas of real estate transactions and all matters related to the transfer and insuring of title, as well as a nuanced understanding of the community and political forces underlying real estate development and management.
